Video – Wellbeing in Family Law – Taking Action

A follow-up wellbeing webinar in partnership with LawCare, the mental health charity for the legal sector, exploring practical ways to address findings from our sector-wide report.

Trish McLellan of LawCare led discussions on:

• why a culture of long working hours is taking its toll on the profession
• the role senior practitioners can play in modelling good practice, and keeping new talent in the sector
• the impact of greater isolation from peers and families during the pandemic, and its potential legacy
• the importance of access to support and supervision in a changing working environment

She also encouraged the sharing of coping strategies and good practice, both personal and profession-led, whilst signposting to available resources.
