Karin Walker is one of the UK’s best known dispute resolving practitioners. Based in Woking, she set up her own firm, KGW Family Law, in January 2012 with the attention of achieving satisfactory resolution for separating couples through constructive communication.
As a mediator Karin is able to meet with children for child inclusive discussion. She is an arbitrator who can deal with financial remedy and child arrangements. She also undertakes neutral evaluation and private FDRs.
Her most recent publication, “Do it Out of Court – a Practitioner’s Guide to Out of Court Dispute Resolution” is aimed at those family law practitioners who have little or no experience in out of Court options.
Karin speaks regularly on issues relating to family law and provides training for Resolution, MBL Seminars and independently. She is the co-author of “Narcissism and Family Law – A Practitioner’s Guide” and “Divorcing a Narcissist – The Lure, the Loss and the Law”, the latter being a No. 1 Amazon bestseller. She has also regularly featured on the podcast with the same name.
